Racing into spring

THOMPSON Creek Thoroughbreds races horses with family, friends and clients and we are thrilled about the rising two-year-olds in our “stable.”

The filly by Dundeel from Miss Barwang is a clone of The Closer, the Dundeel mare we have raced so successfully, and she is in pre-training with Ciaron Maher and David Eustace at Ballarat. The Closer is also in work there.

The filly by Cable Bay from Chalk Ridge is in pre-training in Queensland. She will join the Eagle Farm stables of Tony Gollan.

Spelling at our farm, Glentree South, at Modewarre, near Geelong, is the grey filly by Frosted from Merge. She will go to Ciaron and David in due course.

Being broken in locally is a colt by Maurice from our Snitzel mare Pristine Girl. He is bound for the stables of Jamie Edwards at Freshwater Creek, near Geelong. Then there is the filly by Rubick from the Zabeel mare Lashezz, to be trained by Ciaron and David.

Older horses in work currently are the winners The Closer and Rich and Rare and the unraced Bubbly Lass.
